Find the carriers you're actually looking for.

CarrieSeek helps freight dispatchers search targeted carrier data — by state, equipment type, and how new their operating authority is — instead of spending hours digging through FMCSA's MOTUS registry (the government's new public system for carrier records) one carrier at a time, or buying a generic list.

How it works

Three steps to a targeted carrier list.

Step 1

Choose your criteria

Tell CarrieSeek what kind of carrier you're trying to find — state, equipment type, and how recently their authority was granted.

Step 2

CarrieSeek searches

CarrieSeek filters available carrier data for carriers that match your criteria and already have active common authority and insurance on file.

Step 3

Get your targeted list

Export as CSV or XLSX with DOT and MC numbers, authority age, equipment type, company officer names, full mailing address, and every phone number and email FMCSA has on file — instead of starting from a generic list built to someone else's criteria.

The difference

Stop assembling the list by hand.

The old way

  • Search carrier records one at a time on MOTUS
  • Sort and scrub huge spreadsheets
  • Buy a generic list built to someone else's criteria
  • Delete the prospects that don't fit
  • Spend hours assembling a targeted list

The CarrieSeek way

  • Define your ideal carrier once
  • Apply targeted filters that matter to you
  • See how many carriers match
  • Build a list around your criteria
  • Spend the time you saved on outreach

Stop buying somebody else's generic carrier list.

With a traditional carrier list, someone else decides the criteria. With CarrieSeek, you define what you're looking for and the search works from there.

Your criteria. Your search. Your carrier list.

Who it's for

Built for independent freight dispatchers.

Freight dispatchers

If you prospect carriers to grow your roster of clients, you already know the kind of carrier you work best with — the equipment they run, the lanes, how established they are. CarrieSeek lets you search for carriers that match that profile so your prospecting list starts focused instead of starting generic.

CarrieSeek helps you identify carrier prospects that match your criteria. Whether a carrier needs a dispatcher — and whether they become a client — is still down to your outreach and your pitch.

Origin

Built from a real dispatching problem.

CarrieSeek was built by KenRoy, an independent freight dispatcher who is also a senior software engineer. He spent a long time building targeted carrier lists by hand — filtering large public carrier datasets, checking authority and insurance, removing the carriers that didn't fit — and realized most of that workflow could be automated. So he built the tool he wanted.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is CarrieSeek?

CarrieSeek is a carrier discovery and lead-generation tool for freight dispatchers. You define the kind of carrier you want to find and CarrieSeek searches available carrier data for matches, then hands you an exportable list with contact details.

Who is CarrieSeek for?

Independent freight dispatchers who prospect carriers. Other trucking B2B teams that prospect carriers can use it too, but the launch is focused on dispatchers.

What can I search for?

You choose the states, the equipment type (dry van, reefer, flatbed, box truck, and others), and a first-grant authority-age window — for example, carriers whose authority was granted 30 to 90 days ago. Every result already has active interstate common authority, is a property carrier, and has insurance on file; passenger, household-goods, private, broker, and towing operations are filtered out.

What's in the exported spreadsheet?

Every unlocked list exports (CSV or XLSX) with 17 fields per carrier: USDOT number, MC number, legal company name, DBA name, up to two company officer names, full street address, city, state, ZIP, email, primary phone, secondary phone, authority age in days, and up to three equipment types (primary, secondary, tertiary) — the same full field set whether you buy pay-as-you-go or through a subscription. Primary phone has near-100% coverage (we fall back across three source fields); email and secondary phone are included whenever FMCSA has them on file, which isn't every carrier. Before you unlock a list, the preview shows state, equipment type, and a 30-day authority-age range only — no contact details, so you always know what you're getting before you pay.

Are these active carriers?

Yes — every carrier in a CarrieSeek list is currently active with the FMCSA and authorized to haul freight right now. We filter directly on live FMCSA authority status, so revoked, inactive, or pending-authority carriers are excluded automatically. You're never getting a stale or defunct carrier.

Does CarrieSeek guarantee a carrier will hire my dispatching company?

No. CarrieSeek is a research and lead-discovery tool. It helps you identify carrier prospects that match your criteria — it does not guarantee responses, contracts, or clients. Outreach, qualification, and closing are still your job, and not every carrier wants a dispatcher.

Will I ever be sold the same carrier twice?

No. CarrieSeek remembers every carrier (USDOT) you've already purchased and automatically excludes them from every future list you buy, so repeat orders always bring you new prospects instead of ones you already have.

Can I redownload a list after I buy it?

Yes, anytime. Once you unlock a list it's yours for good — go to your account's order history, open the order, and click Export CSV or Export XLSX. There's no limit on how many times you can re-download it.

How does the subscription work?

A subscription gives you a fixed number of leads to use each month; unused leads don't roll over into the next month. If you use up your monthly allotment before the period ends, you can keep going — additional leads are billed at a discounted rate below our standard pay-as-you-go pricing.

What do I get from subscribing that I don't get with pay-as-you-go?

Pay-as-you-go searches are capped at 10 states per list. Subscribers can search nationwide, across all states, in a single list, and get a monthly lead allotment at a lower effective per-lead rate than pay-as-you-go pricing. And if you use up that allotment before the month is over, you're not cut off — you can keep ordering leads for the rest of the billing period at a discounted per-lead rate, still cheaper than standard pay-as-you-go pricing. If you regularly search outside a handful of states, or order enough that the monthly allotment gets used, a subscription works out cheaper and less restrictive.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your Account page and click Cancel subscription, then confirm. You can also cancel from Manage billing, which opens Stripe's billing portal — the same place you'd update your card or view invoices. No forms or support tickets needed either way.

What happens when I cancel?

Nothing changes right away: you keep subscriber access and your current lead allotment for the rest of the billing period you already paid for. When that period ends, your account automatically switches to pay-as-you-go pricing — there's no refund for the unused portion of the period. Changed your mind? As long as the period hasn't ended yet, click Resume subscription on your Account page to undo the cancellation. Note that unused leads never carry over to the next period anyway, whether you cancel or not.

How do I update my payment method?

If you're a subscriber, go to your Account page and click Manage billing — that opens Stripe's secure billing portal, where you can add a new card, change your default card, and view past invoices. Pay-as-you-go purchases don't have a saved card to manage; you enter your payment details at checkout each time you buy a list.
